Our wow-factor hire/drive packages are available for 3 nights (Friday to Monday), 4 nights (Monday to Friday / long weekend), and 7 nights (Monday to Monday / Friday to Friday), with extra nights available, should you wish to book longer than a week to get the most out of your houseboat holiday. The Easter Package is 5 nights (Thursday at 3 pm to Tuesday at 10 am), while Christmas & New Year’s Eve/Week is only available as a set 7-night hire period. Inquiries regarding 5 and 6 nights during any season except Christmas and NYE Week are subject to negotiation and should be discussed during the call.

Please note that no more than twelve (12) passengers are permitted on the Wow Factor at any time. Passengers under one (1) year of age are exempt from this requirement.

PET-FRIENDLY POLICY

Bringing your dogs along? At Wow Factor, we love accommodating your four-legged companions while prioritizing their safety and enjoyment. To ensure a delightful experience for everyone, please follow these guidelines:

Leash Policy: For safety and harmony, kindly keep your furry friends on a leash when not on the houseboat. We welcome a maximum of two dogs onboard at any time, with a $50 fee per dog per day upon booking. If you choose to bring your furry friends, we'll deduct the fees from your bond.

Pet Comfort: Bring everything your pet needs for a comfortable stay, as each pet's needs are unique. Let's make their stay as enjoyable as yours.

Houseboat Care: To maintain our houseboats' pristine condition, we kindly request that pets stay off the furniture. Any additional cleaning or damage due to fur, mud, or accidents will incur extra charges.

Desexing Requirement: In line with our commitment to cleanliness and well-being, all female dogs must be desexed before boarding our boats. This helps ensure a sanitary environment for all guests.

FIREWOOD AND KINDLING (For Riverbank Camping and Outdoor Cooking)

If you wish to enhance your riverbank camping and outdoor cooking experience with a cosy campfire, we offer firewood and kindling. These are priced at approximately $40.00 - $50.00 per hire (subject to change based on current firewood costs), with charges deducted from the bond. Terms & Condition

INTRODUCTION Thank you for booking with Wow Houseboats Pty Ltd ACN 648 898 739 (we/us) for your Murray River (River) houseboat hire experience. These terms and conditions bind your booking. We recommend that you read and agree to the hire Terms and Conditions (Hire Terms) included in this document. Your hire will be conditional on you signing these Hire Terms. The Hire Terms form part of this agreement. OUR PRODUCTS We offer all the products listed on our website. However, we pride ourselves on providing you with a tailored experience. All products (listed or otherwise) are subject to change without notice. All products are subject to availability. Prices can change before booking without notice. WOW FACTOR Wow Factor is not an accessible houseboat, and you should consider if you can safely board, be accommodated on, operate, and disembark (including in an emergency). EXPENSES Our quoted price includes the per day hire amount only. Additional charges apply for and will be deducted from your bond: -Petrol and diesel (at the amount that it costs us to refuel the Wow Factor - petrol to run the engines and diesel to run the generator); -A marina service fee of $60 shall be deducted for refuelling, pump out and water refill; -A water fee of $6 shall be deducted for refilling of drinking and spa water; -The cost of gas based on what Riverglen Marina charges (at the daily charge of $15 per day); -Car parking fee ($10 per car/trailer per day); -The cost of bringing dog/s is $50 per dog per day; -Any costs incurred by us, including those set out in the Bond section of this agreement; -A fee of $60 per hour shall apply to arrange for the repairs, plus additional costs may be incurred should travel to provide access be required; -The sum of $100 if the BBQ is not clean on return; -The sum of $250 per hour if the Wow Factor needs to be unbeached, as the costs incurred include travel time and ski boat use; -The sum of $250 for telephone calls to the emergency number for matters that are not in relation to the safe operation of Wow Factor; -Any damage pursuant to the terms of this agreement and pre-authorisation form; -For cleaning of the Wow Factor in the event that excessive cleaning is required; and, -The sum of any consumables you intentionally and/or accidentally take home. These consumables should remain in the boat at all times. DEPOSIT A quarter (25%) of the total hire cost must be paid within three (3) days to confirm your tentative booking. Failing to make this payment may result in Wow Factor being booked to another party. PAYMENT Full payment must be made at least eight (8) weeks before the commencement of your hire. If you book less than eight (8) weeks before the commencement of your hire, then full payment must be made within five (5) business days of making your booking or before the commencement of your hire, whichever is earlier. CANCELLATIONS / DEFERRALS Up to 6 months before the commencement date of your hire, we offer a full refund less a $250 cancellation fee. If you cancel less than six (6) months before the commencement date of your hire, we only offer a refund if: -You pay a $250 cancellation fee; -We are successful in hiring the houseboat for the entire duration of your original hire; and -The hire is for an equal or higher cost than your original booking. We will try our best to rehire Wow Factor for at least your original hire cost and duration. In the event that we are only able to hire Wow Factor for a partial amount of your hire period or amount, we will: -Hire our houseboat for a reduced amount; and -Payout to you a partial refund based on what we can recover for your original hire period, less the $250 cancellation fee. Should there be donations to charity and/or competitions, there will be strictly no cancellations. The bond needs to be paid 60 days before the booking. If the guest cancels the booking, the bond will be forfeited (non-refundable), and the booking is non-transferable. In some cases, a deferral is possible, subject to negotiation. COVID-19 CANCELLATION We do not offer refunds for COVID-19. However, should a State Government or Commonwealth Government lockdown directive be issued and mean you are no longer able to travel to or from your destination, withstanding rights under consumer law, guests will have the option to select a new date for their existing bookings or accept an open-ended credit. New bookings will reflect the rate when the new booking is made. COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS We value the health and safety of our staff, both show out and cleaning. At this time, we are not allowing parties to board Wow Factor unless everyone who is eligible is vaccinated against COVID-19. It is your responsibility to determine the vaccine status of everyone within your party. In the event that a member of your party is unvaccinated, you will be denied boarding, and the Cancellation clause of this agreement will apply. GENERAL PROVISION The terms are governed by the laws of South Australia. Any term found unenforceable is to be severed from this agreement, with the remaining provisions still in full force.
